    I believe you are in the Heritage Rose Garden, and very close to where I live. Check out the Guadalupe River Park Conservancy “Adopt a Rose” program.

      Yes, Christine, the Heritage Rose Garden is right next to the Guadalupe River Trail I take every day. I was out of town most of April, so I made a point of getting there before the big bloom was over.

      Have you adopted a rose? My favorite growing up was the Peace rose. Hardly rare or endangered, but I still like it.
