Bike Commute Diaries: Moving On Up

Dirty Little Secret #3: I’m a rule breaker. When I asked whether I could park my bike in my office, the facilities guy said, “Yes, but use the freight elevator.” I took it for about a week. But after having to struggle to hold open two extra sets of doors and fumble for my cardkey, I switched to the lobby elevator, a classier way to ride.

      C’mon, Hans. You know me well enough to know I’m far more of a goody two shoes than a rule breaker. Of course I asked and of course I’m always on the lookout for the facilities guy when I sneak into the lobby elevator.
