Bike Commute Diaries: Two Locks, No Bagels

23 May

This blog entry has nothing to do with bagels. The title was my dear husband’s idea. And since I borrowed his brand new U lock to double lock my bike at the San Jose Airport this morning, I’ll indulge him. Sometimes you need to go the extra mile to take care of what’s important. I hope my bike is as secure as my marriage.

Ironically, I looked for a bagel for breakfast at the airport and couldn’t find one. My husband is clearly psychic.

If Dick’s been eating his bagels with locks then his dentist must love him!

Lucy, his dentist definitely loves him. I think the dentist could buy a fleet of high-end bicycles with what Dick has spent on his teeth.

BTW, the fixie with the red rims behind my bike is the same bike that was there when I parked at the airport three weeks ago. I didn’t look carefully last time, but today it wasn’t locked. Very trusting person.
