Fashion Friday: Country Come to Town

05 Oct

Vacation casual or “country come to town?” I can’t decide, but this loose all-cotton shirt, cropped blue jeans and flip flops sure were comfy when we rolled out for breakfast in downtown Knoxville’s Market Square.

About Fashion Friday: Inspired by a 2011 Bike to Work Day challenge sponsored by the San Francisco Bicycle Coalition, this series highlights the broad range of “dress for the destination” bicycling fashions.

Gah, and I am wearing wool tights under legging s and a turtle neck sweater over base-layers, an extra pair of socks, a coat, and boots to stay warm… you don’t wanna switch by any chance, do you?

Well, the temperature dropped 20 degrees the next day in Knoxville. Still not wool leggings-worthhy, but definitely not flip flop weather. Back home in NorCal it’s only cooled 5-10 degrees from mid-summer. But the rain and chill will come again shortly…
