Adam and Eve were happily naked in the Garden of Eden until they broke their sacred promise. Their bite of the forbidden fruit means that I, their descendent, am far too modest to ride my bike naked like the people who rode the World Naked Bike Ride in San Francisco today. But with a little photo editing, I’m there in spirit.

Cute! That reminds me when we showed our children London in Google Street View. To our surprise close to Westminster Abbey The World Naked Bike Ride was on display (with appropriate parts fuzzed out)! Check it out.

I know, why March? Brr. The official worldwide celebration is in June but apparently it conflicted with another event in San Francisco. Of course, San Francisco always has to march to the beat of their own drummer.

I like your support, but you should really make it to the next ride in June! This weekend was the first time I’ve participated. Things went pretty smoothly, and the weather was great considering it was March 9th. We got hassled by authorities twice, but no real confrontations. Once at the San Francisco Maritime Museum. We rode past, then turned around, and a National Parks employee wouldn’t let us pass by a second time, so we turned around again and continued on. The second time, we stopped for a break somewhat near the SF Yacht club, and after a few minutes, an officer very politely asked us to move along.

That’s not too bad. Glad to hear it wasn’t anything heavy-handed. You never know with law enforcement.
